Quickwire Ltd design and manufacture the Quickwire maintenance free junction boxes for lighting. These innovative products significantly cut down on the labour involved when wiring up domestic light fittings. They have a unique patented push fit design, which makes installation fast and simple.
Quickwire have two main products:
Switch & Load junction box and the Splitter junction box.
The Switch & Load junction box has 4 inputs: loop in, loop out, load and switch. these provide the 3 plate wiring configuration needed in most lighting circuits.
The Splitter junction box also has four inputs, with each one providing a straight through connection to the others. A Splitter can be used to extend lighting circuits or connect multiple luminaires in one room.
Both junction boxes are designed and manufactured in Great Britain. They can take both 1mm and 1.5mm Twin and Earth cable, and comply with BS 5733-MF which makes them maintenance free. They are also one of the smallest lighting junction boxes around, and can fit through a 32mm downlighter hole effortlessly.
