Ai will not make branding irrelevant

The future is not facts instead of brand. It is offering clear evidence, strong proof and human trust too.

There is an argument around Ai search, saying that brands now need to become more factual. Future buyers will ask Ai tools for recommendations, and those tools will look for evidence. This might suggest that branding no longer matters.

Be careful with that idea. Ai may reward businesses that explain themselves properly across the web, but it won’t remove the human side of B2B buying. As always, the buyer is not only asking “Which supplier has the right specification?” – they are also asking “Are they a safe choice?”

Those are brand questions, and it’s important not to choose between Ai visibility and brand-building. We need both.

The emotional side matters because buyers still need confidence. In B2B, familiarity and credibility has commercial weight. A buyer may use Ai to build a shortlist, but they still bring what they already know into the decision.

That is why everything from email newsletters to events to traditional media will probably still have a place. And we should be building content that works in two ways at once. It should be legible to machines and persuasive to people. No more “innovative solutions”. Make the business easier for Ai to understand. Make it easier for people to trust.
