Microsoft’s Bing search engine is still only a distant challenger to the hugely dominant Google in the western world. For marketing purposes, it’s worth keeping in mind, but perhaps shouldn’t take up a lot of our resources. However, it continues to innovate, both in major ways (the new AI-powered Bing with Bing Chat) and in minor tweaks. An example of the latter is a new ‘verified’ badge next to ‘official’ sites for a search. Here’s an example:
I doubt there’s much that can be done to control whether we do or don’t get this label. It might help draw attention to our company site, however.
