Keeping companies cohesive while many employees have worked from home has been an issue in recent months. With schools returning, there’s been a notable ‘return to the office’, but the prospect of semi-permanent home working is very real for some people. LinkedIn hopes to play a greater role in the online presence of many companies, and there are a few new changes which indicate the way the platform is going.
One of the most significant is a new ‘My Company’ tab for larger companies, a space to enable employees to engage with each other, and otherwise stay connected while working remotely. This includes announcing employee promotions and changes, trending content and recommendations to connect internally. There’s also a new ‘Events’ screen, and a listing of company page followers.
