I’ve been reading through reports of recent search engine marketing conferences, and there seems to be a lot of talk about the current success in the search engine results of ‘high quality content’ delivered in a useable format. That means original, substantial content, with simple but effective presentation that automated systems can appreciate. Google appears to be getting very good at understanding the authority of articles; you might think that’s something at which a human expert would be better than a machine, but as with everything, Google makes up in data access what it lacks in subjectivity. Its use of neural network and machine learning is giving it an ability to classify things on a conceptual level which may not be the same as ours, but has similar outcomes.

TL;DR: Make your website an increasingly useful repository of information in your area of technology, and the results will follow.
