One of the things that puts many people off making quick, ‘off the cuff’ videos, is the need to master video editing software, which is either hard to master, expensive, or both. Fortunately there are editing capabilities in YouTube that enable the most basic (but critical) tasks to be accomplished.
Upload an unfinished video but don’t make it visible in public yet. Go to YouTube Studio and find the video, then under ‘Editor’ you’ll be given the ability to trim the beginning or end of the video, remove sections from the middle, and add an ‘end screen’.
It won’t make you into a professional film studio, but it will mean that you can make some footage presentable, quickly and easily. Give it a try.
