Writing case studies is quite hard work. We all know that. So what would you think if a customer sent in a nice case study of how they’ve used your products or services, and said that you’d be welcome to use it on your website for free? You’d be delighted, right?
Think about this the other way around and you’ve got yourself an easy way of getting some great links. Whose products and services has your company bought recently? Do those suppliers have a website which looks like it could use a freely-contributed case study that you’ve sent them? If the company has a strongly-ranked website, links from it would be very valuable, particularly from an SEO point of view. Just ensure that your own company’s own products or services are mentioned in the case study (which they’d have to be really) and that the mention gets linked to your site.
