Here’s a really nice little service from Google, which I guarantee you’ll want to try. It does what is says on the tin, and tests how mobile-friendly your site is. There are two (completely unrelated!) things we should take away from this page. The first is to do what it says, obviously. For our own part (below), it looks like we need to have a think about the way our site is being served up, even if we can be pleased with how well the coding has been done!
Mobile web speed does matter. It matters to our users, and it matters to Google – some would say too much. If our site’s ranking in Google is important (and it is, for all of us), then we all need to take action on this report’s recommendations.
