In 9 Ways to Optimize Your Links and Draw Attention to Your Calls to Action we’re reminded that the most important links on every page need to stand out. Do yours? This is a really good article, with every one of the nine points having some merit – especially the one which reminds us to put a “call to action” link (the most important one on the page) “above the fold”, i.e within the screen you see when you come to the page, before you scroll down. Many people (and I hold my hands up here) just stick it at the end of the text. But just because someone doesn’t get that far doesn’t mean they don’t want what you’re offering.
