Here’s a tip – when sending a long weblink in emails, to ensure they don’t arrive broken, use Tinyurl.com, download it, and have it ready and waiting on your browser.

I use it all the time – especially handy for emailed press releases, I simply include the link, like this one http://tinyurl.com/38gwlfy, so that editors can select the image they would prefer to use. (Do ensure that the images are of good quality, or else it defeats the object if they have to come back and ask).

With the advent of Spring – yes, it’s finally reached us here in the Highlands – lambs being born this week (in the rain I might add!) and daff’s are now blooming – it’s prompted me to set myself some fresh challenges. On the list is getting to grips with understanding AdWords, instead of just scratching the surface.

So here, for the next month I’m going to focus mainly on AdWords, hope you’ll join me…
