Chris Rand at BMON has announced two more free seminars for marketing managers, in industrial and scientific companies:

The first seminar, “How to make your website punch above your weight”, is aimed at you if you’re at a smaller industrial and scientific company, in control of your own website and wanting to develop it into a much harder-working asset.

In the industrial and scientific sector, your customers look no further than the web for suppliers. But most larger industrial and scientific companies have made a really unimpressive job of their online presence. As smaller competitors, you still have every chance to establish yourself as one of the best-known names. This is not about big budgets. It’s about being smarter, faster and more efficient. And that’s something your company is already.

The second event, “How to get customer enquiries back to 1990 levels”, is for you if you’re a medium-sized industrial and scientific company with an advertising budget, and want to find out how the smartest people in the business are once again converting that budget into large numbers of name-and-address sales enquiries.

Remember the days when a £500 advert got you 30, 40 or 50 enquiries every time? Chris Rand does – he was Editor of an engineering magazine which produced those sorts of results regularly. But how do you get sales enquiries that cheaply in the industrial and scientific sectors, 20 years on? The answer, as many companies have found out, is to use a combination of search engine advertising and dedicated web pages which convert the interest into name-and-address enquiries.

Both seminars will be held in Letchworth, Hertfordshire.
