Introducing the BMON One Minute Video

The web is going video …and you need to be there. This time next year, at least some of your competitors are going to have a YouTube Channel with 40 or 50 videos on it. What will you have? Companies are already issuing press releases with videos to reinforce the message. Google is featuring videos on the first page of its results. Are you going to let this huge advance get away from you and be playing catch-up for years?

Here at BMON, we've come up with a way in which you can be at the forefront of using video in engineering and scientific marketing, at an affordable price and with minimal involvement on your part.

The concept is simple. You ask us to make a video every week or every fortnight about your products, and we deliver. You just to provide the brochures, press releases or case studies, which are all we need to make the videos. That's it. When you watch the video below, you'll see how it's done. There won't be any cameras or film crews involved, don't worry.

However, making one video a year is useless. If they're to work, videos need to be part of your marketing workflow. So we'll make four of these videos every month for £1000 a month, or two every month for £600. That’s just £250-£300 per video – less than a magazine advert, and giving you a much longer working life! Cancel that regular half-page magazine advert and you could have a YouTube Channel with 20-30 videos on it, working all day every day, in 12 months' time, long after the magazines are in landfill.

BMON's one minute videos are composed of animated still images and text, and are put together just like a press release. There’s no requirement for cameras, lighting or production crew. The results are highly professional and will deliver the message, effectively. As far as Google is concerned, they're as good as the most expensively-produced video. Probably better, as they are tagged, titled and targeted by us with care.

Here's an example. If this was your company's video, you could use it on a YouTube Channel, in emailed newsletters, embedded on your website or even shown at exhibitions: all for no futher cost. It gets the message over very effectively indeed.

Our one minute videos are intended to be work-horses, in much the same way as your press releases and webpages – providing you with an excellent return-on-investment.

As you are aware, it’s a hard slog to get on the first page of Google results for any product, but recently an opportunity has arisen: correctly optimised videos can show in the first page results. Your website is competing with hundreds of thousands of competitive websites for that page one slot on Google, but any videos you make now will probably only be competing with half a dozen others on the same subject.

It makes sense to start building your video portfolio.

All you need to do is to decide on the frequency of your videos (weekly or fortnightly) and start to list the products or news you'd like covered. In each case, send us the relevant information, such as a press release or brochure with a selection of photographs, highlighting (if you wish) the main points you'd like covered. That's all. Once the video has been produced, sit back and check the views on the YouTube channel and check the numbers of visitors generated in your website analytics.

We will have the video scripted and made by experienced trade press editors. We'll also set up your YouTube channel, research an appropriate search engine term to target, and ensure all titles, descriptions and tags are written and correct on the YouTube page. After presenting the finished video to you and having it approved, we'll upload it to the web and set up links to it.

You can see some of the videos we've made recently here.
