Passwords: are you making it easy for them?

Effectively, we've been trained – by people who should know better – to use passwords which are increasingly difficult to remember, but also increasingly easy for a machine to guess.

Something light-hearted for a Friday? Just because it's a cartoon, doesn't make that the case, sorry. But there's an interesting message in here, which a lot of people who know about information security get quite worked up about. Effectively, we've been trained – by people who should know better – to use passwords which are increasingly difficult to remember, but also increasingly easy for a machine to guess.
