Google search for just one site

If you query Google, using the "site" command, it will restrict the results to a particular site. Here's how it's done.

Yesterday I wrote about using links within your own site to point Google (as well as your readers) to the page which is about that topic. I suggested that you searched your site for references to important terms, and converted them to links to the appropriate pages. One of our Insider Programme members got in touch and asked what was the best way to do that search. If you don't have a good site search installed, the simple answer is to use Google with the "site" command, which will restrict the results to a certain site (i.e yours). So, to search for mentions of our latest team member here on our site, I would go to Google and type in "rob hancocks site:bmon.co.uk". Easy.
